Support Staff Manager – Full Time

Salary: NJC Points 23-25 (£26,999/£13.99 per hour – £28,785/£14.92 per hour)

Hours: 30 hours per week negotiable, term time only plus 5 training days

Start date: As soon as possible

We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Support Staff Manager to manage a team of teaching assistants and HLTAs.

Candidates will have previously worked in a school with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Senior Teaching Assistant or a HLTA, or equivalent. They must also have Early Years Foundation Stage experience. All candidates must be able to communicate well with others and possess the skills to lead and supervise a team effectively.

We achieved a ‘Good’ in all areas in our recent Ofsted inspection and would like applicants to possess the skills and knowledge to join our school on an exciting journey to Outstanding.

We are a 1.5 form entry school with approximately 300 children currently on roll.

PA to Headteacher – Full Time

Salary: NJC Scale 6 Points 18-22 (£24,313-£26,317)

Hours: 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 training days, 8:30am-4pm

Start date: As soon as possible

We are seeking to appoint a PA to the Headteacher to manage and co-ordinate the Headteacher’s diary as well as providing effective and efficient administrative and HR support.

Candidates will have previously worked in a similar role, having been responsible for HR and compliance, will have knowledge of all HR systems, equal opportunities, DBS checking and the importance of the Single Central Record. All candidates must be resilient, quick to learn and able to take on a number of different tasks. A calm and positive approach to work is vital. The candidate will be responsible for the management of the school calendar, the website and correspondence to the local community and you will work closely with members of the SLT, providing support where necessary. The successful candidate will present the friendly face of our school and possess the excellent skills of communication required in all aspects of this key role. Applicants will be intelligent, flexible, autonomous, be able to work optimistically under pressure and thrive in the unpredictable daily life of a school.
