Head teacher’s Welcome Message

On behalf of Houghton Regis Primary School learning community, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our web site. Our aim is to provide a creative, nurturing, safe environment with high expectations of all those who are a part of the HRPS family.

We aim to cultivate in all our children their intellectual, emotional, social, moral and spiritual development enabling them to achieve their full potential and take their place as life-long learners in a globalised world. It is not possible for the school to achieve these aims without a strong partnership between home and school playing a vital role in the learning process. We actively encourage parents and carers to visit the school regularly to facilitate this relationship.

The excellent teaching and non-teaching staff have high expectations of themselves and the children within our care. As a community we are motivated and committed to continuous improvement in a supportive environment. If you are interested in finding out more about our school please do not hesitate to contact us to arrange a visit.

We look forward to seeing you

Mrs Bernice Waite

Our Vision, Aims & Values

Home School Agreement

At Houghton Regis Primary School every individual is valued for who they are and what they contribute to our school community. Our Values Education Programme is intended to support the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of every pupil throughout the school. The whole staff team and all pupils are involved in promoting values and recognizing where others are “living the values”. The values developed through our Values Education Programme have been selected as those which are important within our school community and which will prove important throughout life.
